Challenge Rosie

31st March 2007

Rosie Gibbs is an osteopath who has been working at the OCC clinic in London since September 2005.  In March 2007 she will attempt this challenge in order to raise £10,000 for the charity.

Rosie will spend six days sledding through the snow-covered Norwegian highlands and deep forest, crossing the Swedish border, journeying through wild and untouched nature.

Each day Rosie will sled an average of 40km, caring for and driving her own team of huskies. At night she will ‘get her head down' in a lavvo - a  traditional Sami tent with an open fire - which will be much appreciated in temperatures of minus 40°C!

To support Rosie in her efforts, please contact the OCC for a sponorship form, or donate via the Just Giving website,  www.justgiving.com/challengerosie.
