We are delighted to announce the Foundation for Paeditric Osteopathy’s first International Conference which will take place on 13th and 14th October 2012 in London.

In organising this conference, we aspire to bring together experts in the field to develop the understanding of osteopaths’ approaches to paediatric patients. We have invited a number of speakers who can offer different perspective and expertise. The conference will provide a forum for exchange of ideas and we hope the by bringing together like-minded osteopaths, we will also encourage the informal discussion and sharing of ideas between practitioners which will also develop the shared body of knowledge related to this area of practice.

All osteopaths, regardless of their level of experience, will gain from this opportunity to learn from the lecturers and share ideas with other paediatric osteopaths.

For more information about the conference and to book your place: www.fpoconference.org.uk

One of the parents of our little patients, Matt Robinson, organised a great fundraising event at the Jazz Café in Camden. Matt, whose son Zain has Autism Spectrum Disorder, organised the event to raise awareness of autism and to raise funds for Zain’s Autism Network (ZAN) and other charities that have provided ongoing treatment to Zain, including the OCC. The night was a success, and some of the proceeds of the event were donated to the OCC.

Here at the OCC we are really grateful to Matt for his enthusiasm and support.
